From Vision to Voice
How I work

Thoughtful, flexible support that meets you where you are.
With 20+ years in communications and engagement roles, I know that good work starts with trust, energy and clarity.

I take the time to understand your people, purpose and context — because getting aligned at the start saves time, headspace and effort down the line.

I’m collaborative, warm and honest. Whether we’re co-creating in a workshop, jumping on a call, or finding our way through something complex, I bring creative energy, clear thinking and a steady sense of momentum.
Here's how we usually get started
I listen.
We start with where you are — the challenge, the ambition, the sense that something needs to shift. I take time to understand your context, language and goals.
We make sense together.
Through conversations, workshops or research, I help you untangle ideas and spot what matters most. This stage is all about clarity — what are we trying to say, to whom, and why?
I shape and support.
Together we shape a message, plan or story that fits you — and feels right for the people you're trying to reach. I can step back at this stage, or stay involved to help bring it to life.
I stay flexible.
Sometimes all you need is a short, sharp intervention. Sometimes you need a thinking partner over time. I adapt to what’s most useful to you.
About me
I’ve spent over 20 years working in marketing, communications, engagement and leadership roles — but for me, it’s always been about something deeper: helping people connect. With ideas. With each other. And with the change they’re trying to make in the world.
Before going freelance, I worked in senior roles across the charity, research and publishing sectors — including at Director level on executive teams. Over the years, I realised that the work I loved most was about helping people make sense of their message and find the confidence to share it. That’s what led me here.
Now, I offer thoughtful, flexible support to organisations doing meaningful work — drawing on experience, curiosity, and a strong belief in the power of clear communication.
I live in Oxfordshire with my family, and teach yoga alongside my consultancy work.
I believe in creativity, calm and connection — but also in finding the joy where you can. I love music, a good singalong in the car, and the kind of humour that gets you through the trickiest days. That often shows up in my work too.
